GoBarefoot was founded in 2015, with the sole objective of creating an information driven, networking platform for the Social / Development sector. We are an interactive portal dedicated to connecting the 'For Purpose' universe with the right people and ideas. Driven by a strong passion to accelerate growth in the development sector, the organisation was founded as a not-for-profit, by people with deep experience in the sector. We have been incubated by Third Sector Partners (www.thirdsectorpartners.com), an executive search firm exclusively dedicated to the social, environmental and corporate sustainability sectors.

We aim is to become the world's largest high-impact networking platform catering exclusively to the social / development sector.

GoBarefoot brings together individuals, NGOs, NPOs and CSR arms of organisations with the express mandate of fostering a one-stop information website aimed at networking and knowledge sharing.
